Time for journeys
We're all travelling all the time, even if we're sitting on our couch watching the box, the world is turning and travelling through space taking us on it's journey. For me there are two important journeys just about to happen- Coalessence and a trip to San Francisco for the Apple WWDC. If anyone on the list is in the SF area please swing me an email, it'd be great to meet some locals! For the Melbourne locals I'd love for you come on the Coalessence journey with me, read on for more details.

1. Gigs
Coalessence - Fearless Movement
I remember reading about Robert Rich's Sleep Concerts where he would play 8 hour gigs where people were encouraged to bring along a pillow and sleeping bag and bliss out to his sounds. Although I'm not ready for an 8 hour marathon I have teamed up with light worker and crystal practitioner Heath Myers and we have organised an event to coincide with the Eta Aquarids meteor shower which is actually a field of debris left behind from Hailey's comet.
This shower is bringing with it a bunch of energies that will help us through the transitional journey we are facing as a species on this planet right now. Linking these energies with the crystal Chrysoprase focus the energies to leads us to point of "Fearless Movement - to act without fear and embrace our future evolution with love and pure acceptance for what we are in Truth."
There will also be an exhibit of the work of local artist Russell Dammers.
The event is a celebration of this energy, a recognition of it. It all happens on the 6th May at Prana House. Pre-sale and concession tickets are on sale for $30 via the AGM Tours website but they will be more on the door. We're also running a competition that whoever signs up for the Coalessence mailing list will go in the draw to win one of two tickets to the event.
Levitation ov the beast
Edyran from Animal Spirits has asked me to be a part of a killer line up on the 28th May being a Saturday night. Playing along side
Voidhanger, Nekrasov, Grist and Bleach Boys will make a winter night much colder! More details on the website as we get closer.
Winter Solstice
With the hard work of Gabriel from Left of the field Records we have managed to secure the Northcote Uniting Church for Friday 17th June for a celebration of the Winter Solstice. Another amazing line up including Nekrasov, Occult Blood, Grist, Gab Carazo and a few others to be announced. More details as we get closer!
2. Releases
Mist EP

After rearranging the studio and being inspired by the prolific Ted James' Quonset Slut project of feedback loops and the eclectic Demdike Stare albums I set up a smaller modular, sampler and effects station to experiment with.
The other thing is I’m trying out Bandcamp for this project, so far it’s working well, being able to see stats and how many downloads etc, although I can’t help but feel it’s adding complexity to my usual release process. Maybe I’ll keep it just for these little side step projects.

Head over there to download a free copy- it's got beats and noise and drones.
Finally I have had to take tohe plunge and join Facebook, there is two places to find me there my personal page and the Abre Ojos page, if you are out there or on there make a connection :)
Here are all the places I'm at out there too:
